I FINALLY have a new avatar... I have actually wanted a new one since half a year and when I tried, it did not work, but *evivision has made it The idea is not very original, but I like it

University currently takes most of my time, it is really stressful. It is the first time after years that I look forward to Christmas because it means a few free days

It is a bit difficult with photos at the moment because I leave home in the morning when it is still dark and arrive in the evening when it is dark again and the weekends of course are always rainy... I have a few ideas for concepts and have written them down but when I look at them later I do not like them anymore... But maybe I will try something when I have time, next weekend or so...

$Moonbeam13 has announced October as the month of self promotion [link] She asked everyone to answer a few questions... I am actually not a big fan of self promotion, but this is only answering a few questions, so here we go

1. Who are you?
I am a twenty year old student from northern Germany. That's it

2. What is your artistic passion?
Currently photography, I just love to capture memories and things I see, to create something nice (at least I hope so) and it is also very relaxing to me.
But I always loved to create, as a child I loved to draw and later I spent every free minute on making crafts.

3. Why did you get into art?
When I was a child, my mother and grandmother did a lot of handcrafts with me such as sewing, crocheting or stitching. I also drew much. Later I made beadworks, paper sculptures, small note books and sewed bags. But when I realised that those crafts take so much space in my room, I began drawing, because you can put pictures under the bed and everything is tidy And when I realised that I cannot draw that great and also do not have enough patience to do so, I started photography. I had always liked photography but it was too expensive for me with a film camera (because I use to shoot EVERYTHING ) and my first digital camera had unbelievably bad image quality, so I did not take many photos. But my sister had quite a nice cam and I loved it, so I had to buy a good one, too, and did this in December 2008.
But I still do not think that it is art what I do, I just have fun creating stuff.

4. How do you inspire yourself?
I don't know... Some ideas come up when I see an object or a picture, when I talk to someone, when I hear something... but most ideas come up when I am relaxed and do not wait for them

5. Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
I don't know, I do not think about the future too much

as I said last week, university will start tomorrow. I am still not really calm about it but I know where and when I have to be tomorrow I still do not know how much time I will have in the next weeks, so far my schedule looks very full, so it might take a bit more time than usual to reply to comments
